Zachary "Zach" Braff (born April 6, 1975) is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, comedian and director who is best known for his role as John Michael "J.D." Dorian, M.D. on the NBC/ABC medical comedy-drama series Scrubs from 2001 to 2010 and as directing and starring as Andrew Largeman in the 2004 comedy-drama film Garden State. He hosted Saturday Night Live on May 19, 2007.
