Roseann "Rosie" O'Donnell (born March 21, 1962) is an American comedian, actress, author and television personality best known for being the creative input for the LGBT vacation entertainment company R Family Vacations and for hosting many talk shows, such as the syndicated daytime television talk show The Rosie O'Donnell Show from 1996 to 2002, the ABC talk show The View from 2006 to 2007 and the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network evening television talk show The Rosie Show from 2011 to 2012. She hosted Saturday Night Live on November 13, 1993 and on December 14, 1996.

She was also impersonated by Roseanne Barr on the December 3, 1994 episode during the "A Woman Exploited: The Madonna & Tom Arnold Story" sketch, by Horatio Sanz eight times from May 15, 1999 to May 6, 2006 and by Bobby Moynihan on the November 19, 2011 episode during the "Kelly Auditions" sketch.
