The fifth episode of Saturday Night Live was hosted by Candice Bergen.

Only Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman, Gilda Radner, and Michael O'Donoghue were credited as castmembers. This was likely an error in titles, as the following episode listed the cast on two screens instead of one, with Garrett, Larraine, and Gilda on the second title card. It was also the last episode in which O'Donoghue was credited as a member of the Not Ready For Prime Time Players, though his association with the show lasted for many years.

Cast: The Not Ready For Prime Time PlayersEdit

The other cast members did appear, but were not credited.
