The 32nd episode of Saturday Night Live and the 8th episode of Season 2 and it was hosted by legendary folk-rock singer and guitarist Paul Simon who also served as the musical guest alongside George Harrison, a former member of the Beatles. This is his 2nd time hosting and musical guest appearance on SNL. This is also the only musical guest appearance on SNL for George Harrison.
