Maya Rudolph (born July 27, 1972) is an American actress, comedienne and singer who was a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 2000 to 2007. After her retirement from SNL, she made many cameos and hosted the show for the first time on February 18, 2012, where she also reprised her roles in sketches such as "Bronx Beat."

She has also appeared in many comedy films such as Away We Go, Bridesmaids (opposite Kristen Wiig), A Prairie Home Companion and MacGruber. She also currently stars as Ava Alexander in the NBC comedy sitcom Up All Night.
