Lenny Pickett is a longtime band saxophonist and current musical director of the Saturday Night Live Band. He joined the band for season 11 and became co-musical director (alongside Cheryl Hardwick) with the massive cast change of season 21. Prior to joining SNL, he was a member of the band Tower of Power.[1]
