La Rivista Della Televisione is a fictional Italian entertainment show in which the bizarre host, Vinny Vedecci (played by Bill Hader), asks American celebrities things in the Italian language.
The show's director (played by Fred Armisen) and his production assistant (played by Will Forte or in later seasons by Paul Brittain) sit backstage and frequently exchange impassioned banter with Vinny, in between mouthfuls of spaghetti and meatballs. The overgrown son of Vinny (played by Bobby Moynihan) makes regular appearances doing amazingly adult-like things, such as drinking and smoking.
Although spoken almost entirely in Italian, much can be deduced by body language, as well as the occasional English word or phrase interspersed in the dialog.
