James Smith (born January 14, 1968), better known as LL Cool J (an abbreviation for Ladies Love Cool James), is an American rapper, entrepreneur and actor best known for his role as Special Agent Sam Hanna on the CBS military drama and police procedural series NCIS: Los Angeles since 2009. He appeared on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest on October 24, 1987 where he performed "Go Cut Creator Go" and appeared on the "Fatal Attraction II" cold opening sketch.
