Karl Rove (born December 25, 1950) is an American political consultant and policy advisor who was Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff during George W. Bush's administration until Rove's resignation on August 31, 2007 and headed the Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison and the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives. Although he has never been on Saturday Night Live, he has been impersonated by Chris Parnell on January 13, 2001 during the "Vice Presidential Address" cold opening sketch, by Jeff Richards on October 11, 2003 during the "Hardball" sketch and currently by Bobby Moynihan on November 7, 2009 during the "End Of An Era" cold opening sketch, on February 6, 2010 during the "On The Record" cold opening sketch and on November 10, 2012 during the "Election Night" cold opening sketch.
