Joseph Gordon-Levitt (born February 17, 1981) is an American actor best known for his roles as Tommy Solomon in the NBC sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun, Tom Hansen in the 2009 comedy drama film (500) Days of Summer, Arthur in the 2010 science fiction/action heist film Inception and as John Blake in the 2012 DC Comics superhero film The Dark Knight Rises. He hosted Saturday Night Live on November 21, 2009 and on September 22, 2012.
