John Malkovich (born December 9, 1953) is an American actor, producer, director and fashion designer with his label Technobohemian and is best known for his roles as Al Rockoff in the 1984 drama film The Killing Fields, Basie in the 1987 coming of age war film Empire of the Sun, Vicomte de Valmont in the 1988 drama film Dangerous Liaisons, Cyrus Grissom in the 1997 action-thriller film Con Air, a fictional version of himself in the 1999 comedy-fantasy film Being John Malkovich and as Marvin Boggs in the 2010 action-comedy film RED. He hosted Saturday Night Live on January 21, 1989, October 23, 1993 and on December 6, 2008.
