Jeffrey "Jeff" Bridges (born December 4, 1949) is an American actor, musician, producer, photographer, cartoonist, storyteller and occasional vintner best known for appearing in the adventure television series Sea Hunt with his father Lloyd and his older brother Beau and for his roles as Starman/Scott Hayden in the 1984 science-fiction fantasy film Starman, U.S. President Jackson Evans in the 2000 political thriller film The Contender, Otis "Bad" Blake in the 2009 drama film Crazy Heart and as Rooster Cogburn in the 2010 Western film True Grit. He hosted Saturday Night Live on February 26, 1983 with his older brother Beau and on December 18, 2010.
