Thomas Jacob "Jack" Black (born August 28, 1969) is an American actor, producer, comedian, and musician who began his career in 1991 when he formed the satirical rock group Tenacious D with friend and fellow groupmate Kyle Gass and is best known for his roles as Barry in the 2000 comedy-drama film High Fidelity, Dewey Finn in the 2003 musical comedy film School of Rock, Ignacio/Nacho in the 2006 comedy-drama film Nacho Libre and for voicing Po in the 2008 DreamWorks Animation computer-animated action comedy film Kung Fu Panda and its 2011 sequel.

He appeared on Saturday Night Live as a host on January 19, 2002, October 4, 2003 and on December 17, 2005; as a musical guest with Tenacious D on December 2, 2006 where they performed "Kickapoo" and "The Metal" and as a special guest on May 2, 1998 where they performed an unknown song.
