Wouter "Wally" De Backer (born May 21, 1980), better known by his stage name Gotye, is a Belgian-Australian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter. He appeared on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest on April 14, 2012, where he performed his hit singles "Somebody That I Used to Know" and "Eyes Wide Open."
