Fred Armisen

Fred Armisen (born December 4, 1966) is an American actor and currently a repertory player on SNL. He joined the cast in 2002, along with Will Forte. Before joining SNL, Fred was the drummer for the 90's punk band Trenchmouth.

One of Fred's most memorable characters (so far) is Ritchie B, a deaf comic. His (black) interpreter, Marcus (played by Kenan Thompson) occasionally refuses to translate his jokes from Sign Language to English, because 50% of Ritchie's jokes are racist ("Why could Adam and Eve have never been black? Well, have you ever tried to get a rib away from a black person?"). Marcus gets his revenge by making a joke about Ritchie's penis that he couldn't hear.
