Francis "Frank" Sinatra (December 12, 1915 - May 14, 1998) was an American singer and film actor best known for scoring a Top 40 hit with "(Theme From) New York, New York" in 1980 and for his roles as Private Angelo Maggio in the 1953 drama film From Here to Eternity, Frankie Machine in the 1955 drama film The Man with the Golden Arm and as Maj. Bennett Marco in the 1962 Cold War political thriller film The Manchurian Candidate. He was a member of the Rat Pack (along with Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr.). Although he had never been on Saturday Night Live, he has been impersonated by Joe Piscopo twelve times from January 17, 1981 to May 12, 1984 and by the late Phil Hartman ten times from September 29, 1990 to November 23, 1996.
