The seventh episode of Season 1 of Saturday Night Live premiered on December 13, 1975, hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Richard Pryor with musical guest Gil Scott-Heron. This was Richard Pryor's only hosting appearance and Gil Scott-Heron made his only musical guest stint on the show.
