The 7th episode of Season 39 and the 752nd episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on November 23, 2013, hosted by actor Josh Hutcherson, star of The Hunger Games franchise and the animated film Epic, as well as the hit films The Polar Express, Little Manhattan, Zathura: A Space Adventure, RV, Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and its 2011 sequel Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Detention, The Forger, Escobar: Paradise Lost and Five Nights at Freddy's, with musical guest HAIM, who performed "The Wire" and "Don't Save Me," and appeared in the "Josie" sketch. This will be Josh Hutcherson's hosting debut and HAIM made their musical guest debut on SNL.
