Jonathan "Jon" Hamm (born March 10, 1971) is an American actor best known for playing Don Draper in the AMC drama series Mad Men.

Hamm is also known for his leading film roles in Stolen (2010), Million Dollar Arm (2014), Keeping Up with the Joneses (2016), Beirut (2018), and Confess, Fletch (2022), as well as his supporting roles in The Town (2010), Sucker Punch (2011), Bridesmaids (2011), Friends with Kids (2012), Baby Driver (2017), Tag (2018), Bad Times at the El Royale (2018), Lucy in the Sky (2019), The Report (2019), Richard Jewell (2019), No Sudden Move (2021), and Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He also voiced roles in the animated films Shrek Forever After (2010) and Minions (2015).

He hosted Saturday Night Live 3 times on October 25, 2008, January 30, 2010, and October 30, 2010. He made cameos on May 14, 2011 as Ace during the "The Ambiguously Gay Duo: The Dark, Clenched Hole Of Evil" cartoon sketch, March 3, 2012 during the opening monologue, May 12, 2012 as Sergio during the 100th SNL Digital Short, May 19, 2012 as Johnny Prosciutto during the cold opening, May 4, 2013 during the edited version of the "Darrell's House" sketch, March 8, 2014 during "What are you even doing? You're being crazy!", November 21, 2015 during the "Star Wars Auditions" sketch, May 11, 2019 in the Goodnights, after he was mentioned on Weekend Update, November 16, 2019 during the Cold Open as former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor and introduces host/musical guest Harry Styles' second performance, and on October 1, 2022 for the season 48 premiere in which he plays himself in a self-referential cold open about the cast exits, new cast members, and opening Trump sketch.
