David Letterman (born April 12, 1947) is an American television host and comedian best known for being the host of the CBS late-night talk show Late Show with David Letterman from 1993 to 2015. Although he has never been on Saturday Night Live, he has been impersonated by Joe Piscopo four times from September 25, 1982 to January 28, 1984, by Norm MacDonald thrice from January 11, 1997 to November 7, 1997, by Jeff Richards on March 9, 2002 during the "News Media" sketch and on May 17, 2003 during the "Donatella Versace Backyard Barbeque" sketch and by Jason Sudeikis on January 16, 2010 during the "Larry King Live" sketch.
