Saturday Night Live began its 35th season on September 26, 2009 with host Megan Fox and musical guest U2 and concluded it on May 15, 2010 with host Alec Baldwin and musical guest Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Darrell Hammond, Casey Wilson, and Michaela Watkins did not return from the previous season. Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate were added as featured players. Slate notably had an f-word slip in her first appearance.
