The 9th episode of Season 11 and the 204th episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on February 8, 1986, hosted by the liberal political commentator and broadcaster Ron Reagan with musical guest The Nelsons, a rock band. Penn & Teller are the special guests. Ron Reagan's only hosting stint was made, and this was also the only musical guest appearance on SNL for the Nelsons.

This is the final episode for Dan Vitale as a cast member.
