Dakota Mayi Johnson (born October 4, 1989) is an American actress and model, best known for her roles as Kate Fox on the short-lived sitcom Ben and Kate, as well as her film role as Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E. L. James's beststelling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.
She hosted Saturday Night Live on February 28, 2015. Her parents, actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, appeared in her opening monologue.
