Burton Leon "Burt" Reynolds (born February 11, 1936) is an American actor, director, and voice actor. Some of his notable roles include Bo 'Bandit' Darville in Somkey and the Bandit, Lewis Medlock in Deliverance, J. J. McClure in The Cannonball Run and its sequel Cannonball Run II, Bobby "Gator" McCluskey in White Lightning and its sequel Gator, Charlie B. Barkin in All Dogs Go to Heaven, Paul Crewe then Coach Nate Scarborough in The Longest Yard and Jack Horner in Boogie Nights.

He has hosted Saturday Night Live on the April 12, 1980 episode and has been impersonated multiple times, most knotably by Norm MacDonald in the "Celebrity Jeopardy!" sketches.
