Benjamin "Ben" Stiller (born November 30, 1965) is an American comedian, actor, voice actor, screenwriter, film director and producer who was a short-time cast member of Saturday Night Live from March 25, 1989 to April 22, 1989 with only one season (Season 14).
After being a cast member of SNL with only four episodes, he became well-known for creating and starring on his MTV/Fox sketch comedy show The Ben Stiller Show from 1992 to 1993 and for his roles as Ted Stroehmann in the 1998 comedy film There's Something About Mary, Gaylord "Greg" Focker in the Meet the Parents films, Derek Zoolander in the 2001 comedy film Zoolander (a role he later reprised when he hosted on October 8, 2011 during the Weekend Update segment) and for voicing Alex the Lion in the Madagascar animated films.
He also hosted Saturday Night Live on October 24, 1998 and on October 8, 2011 and also made cameos on March 28, 1987 as Vincent "Vince" Lauria (Tom Cruise's character in The Color of Money) during "The Hustler Of Money" filmed commercial sketch with his father Jerry Stiller, on February 5, 2000 as Wes during the "A Short film by Adam McKay - The Heat Is On" filmed sketch and on December 4, 2010 during the "Little Fockers" sketch and as one of the guys during the "It's a Living" sketch.
