Amy Meredith Poehler (born September 16, 1971) is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She was a castmember on Saturday Night Live from 2001-08, and is the co-founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She was a co-anchor of SNL's news parody, Weekend Update, and a master improvisationalist.

Personal life

Amy married actor Will Arnett in 2003. Arnett is well-known from the hit sitcom Arrested Development, where Amy guest starred as Will's character (GOB)'s wife. On October 25, 2008, Poehler gave birth to their first son, Archibald "Archie" William Emerson Arnett. She had a second son on August 6, 2010 named Abel James Arnett.

In 2012, Amy and Will announced that they were ending their marriage after 9 years. Amy has subsequently dated actor Nick Kroll.
